    Clovis school system campuses will be shut down effective Friday. According to a news release from the Clovis Municipal Schools (CMS) administrative offices, CMS will shift to remote learning beginning Friday due to a strain on local healthcare resources stemming from an increase in communicable illnesses. According to a Portales Municipal Schools news release, due to the increase of illness and shortage of staff, Portales Municipal Schools administration decided to shut down all campuses for the remainder of this week.
