    A scam call to a father in Clovis on Wednesday afternoon prompted police officers to respond to the 400 block of Hickory Street. Deputy Police Chief Trevor Thron said, “it was a scam caller that called a gentleman and told him he was holding his daughter against her will and was demanding money be wired to him.” The father then called police and sent them to his daughter’s last-known location, Thron said.     North Prince Street, one of Clovis' main arterial thoroughfares, will be closed for two months starting Friday. According to a news release from the Clovis City Manager's office, K.
