    The staff at Cannon Air Force Base's Health and Wellness Center (HAWC) is encouraging the Cannon community to participate in the classes they offer for weight management and a healthy lifestyle.     The Cannon Air Force Base Child Development Center is now housed in a brand new larger facility to accommodate the needs of more military families. The groundbreaking for construction began June 10, 2010, and the facility was opened on Nov. 7. Director of the daycare center, Kathy Morgan, said the facility was a need for military families at Cannon on the waiting list and the new facility has allowed them to serve more families.
