Homecoming set for ENMU

October 2, 2007

Sen. Pete Domenici and the undefeated 1957 Greyhounds football team will be among those honored during this year’s Eastern New Mexico University homecoming.

Domenici, R-N.M., the longest serving senator in state history, will be given an honorary lifetime alumni award Saturday during a homecoming breakfast.

The 1957 Greyhounds football team reunion is being organized by Carl Richardson and B.B. Lees, who were the coaches of the team, and Buck Wilson, who played on the team, according to Janice Cowen, alumni affairs coordinator.
