Danny Fox left his earthly body on February 24, 2024, to rest in the arms of his heavenly Father.
Dan was born on October 31, 1942, in Oaktown, Indiana. He was the third son of Noble E. Fox and Leila F. Fox.
After graduation from high school, he enlisted in the US Army where he served for three years as Sentry Dog Handler in Korea. He was discharged in January of 1964. He received the Good Conduct Medal, Basic Missileman's Badge, and Expert Carbine Sharpshooter.
After discharge from the Army, Dan began a 35-year career with NCR Corporation as a Field Engineer and in management.
Dan was an avid golfer and played basketball as a young man.
After retiring from the NCR Corporation, he worked as quality control for Community Home care, and started a home-based business selling specialty promotional items.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noble Everett Fox, and Leila Fern Fox, brothers Charlie Plummer, and David Fox and one grandchild Hannah Norton.
He is survived by his loving wife Jolene Fox of the home. sons Richard Fox (Rick), Robert Fox (Angela), Darrell Norton, Harold Norton (Diana), and daughter Pam Norton.
Also, three grandchildren, Victoria Hamilton (Myles), Christian Fox, and Trace Norton, and Six great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, from 7:00 to 8:00 pm at Steed Todd Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 10:00 am at Steed Todd Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Kirby and Terry Townsend officiating. Pallbearers are Pat Fronk, Mark Robertson, Bryan Elliot, Mitch Freitas, Seth Baker, Dan Duran, and Tommy Sandoval. Interment will follow at Lawn Haven Cemetery.
