CLOVIS -- Police on Sunday said they're investigating a homicide.
Police said they responded to 125 El Camino about 10:40 a.m. Sunday after receiving a report of a shooting victim. They found a 28-year-old man with "multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso area," according to a news release. The man died soon after arriving via ambulance at Plains Regional Medical Center.
Officials did not name the victim and did not say if they have a suspect, but did ask for the public's health in locating a vehicle seen in the area where the homicide occurred.
The vehicle is a black, 2010 Nissan Titan Pro-4X with a receiver hitch in the rear along with running boards. Police asked anyone who knows the driver or where the vehicle is located contact Lt. Trevor Thron at 575-763-9481, call Crime Stoppers at 575-763-7000 or use the Clovis Police Department's new Tip-411 to remain anonymous.
