Chamber reveals new resources

CLOVIS — The Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce has revealed a pair of new resources in support of its new TruGig City initiative, according to a chamber release.

The initiative seeks to attract remote workers who may prefer the lifestyle Clovis has to offer, and to retain people who could do remote jobs that would previously require a change of location.

The new measures include a promotional video featuring Mayor Mike Morris detailing local life, and a Facebook page (@LifeinClovis) including posts about local developments and opportunities. The Facebook page will also provide a calendar for coworking and networking events, including Friday’s virtual coworking session and an April 27 virtual coffee chat.
