Rams to play at home, will allow limited family members as spectators

PORTALES — Following the New Mexico Activities Association’s notification that fans will be allowed into outdoor athletic events, Portales High has tonight’s season opener against Moriarty to Greyhound Stadium.

The 7 p.m. game will be limited to families of players, staff and a limited number of students due to the quick turnaround time to plan the event. Each football player has been provided with six ticket requests for family members.

Tickets for the game must be purchased at the high school before 2 p.m. today. No tickets will be sold at the stadium.

Portales is planning to allow up to 1,000 fans to its March 12 home game against Hatch Valley.
