Fun Center closed by state

CLOVIS — The Clovis Fun Center, previously known as Casel-Land Fun Center, announced Thursday it has been shut down by the state for unspecified public health order violations.

A Thursday Facebook post by the company notes: “It is with a heavy heart we have been shut down by the state government due to people complaining about us being open even though we were taking every precautionary measure to keep our customers safe.

“We are saddened to have to lay off our excellent employees during this time! We appreciate all the support we had while we were open, this doesn’t end here though please call your senators and elected officials to open back up NM!”

The post noted it would inform residents when it would be able to reopen again.

Phone calls and emails left with the business were not returned, and the facility was empty and locked when a reporter from The News made a visit to the location northeast of the NM 467 overpass.
