One contract request will be an agreement with Lea County for juvenile detainee housing. The county has reached agreements with other counties for juvenile services with Curry County closing its juvenile detention facility. The commission approved an agreement with Dona Ana County at its April 20 meeting, and the agreement with Lea County didn’t reach the county offices in time to make the agenda.

Other agreements to be considered include an entry agreement for Century Link to provide fiber optic upgrades for the courts, a personal protective equipment decontamination service agreement and preliminary Local Government Road Fund awards from the state department of transportation.

Other items on the Tuesday agenda include:

• Reports from county departments and elected officials.

• Appointment of a county valuation protest board.

• Preliminary organizational charts for the upcoming fiscal year.
