PORTALES — The Portales City Council will conduct what should be a brief meeting Tuesday evening, with all action items listed on the consent agenda.

The meeting is virtual due to state public health orders regarding mass gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic. The audio for the meeting will be streamed at the city’s Facebook page (cityofportales).

Agenda items include:

• An easement agreement for structures encroaching the city’s right-of-way on the 1000 block of East Elbe.

• An amendment to an engineering services contract with Stantec on city water storage improvements.

• A request to remove ambulance billing charges the Portales Fire Department can no longer pursue for collection.

• A resolution allowing the city to apply for a state juvenile adjudication fund program.
