State's COVID-19 cases exceed 400

One more case of COVID-19 was confirmed in Curry County on Thursday, and New Mexico recorded its seventh death from the virus, according to a news release from the state.

Curry County now has six confirmed cases, with no deaths.

The death announced Thursday was in Bernalillo County. A woman in her 70s had been hospitalized with underlying health conditions, the state announced.

Officials announced 40 new cases across the state on Thursday, bringing its total to 403.

There are 34 individuals hospitalized for COVID-19, and 31 patients have recovered, according to the Department of Health.
