NM COVID-19 deaths up to 10

State health officials on Friday announced three more deaths related to COVID-19.

All three victims — two in Bernalillo County and one in Sandoval County — were elderly men with underlying medical conditions.

The state now has 10 deaths attributed to the virus.

New Mexico also announced 92 new cases on Friday, bringing the total to 495. It’s the most positive cases the state has announced for a single day.

Officials said 41 patients are now hospitalized with COVID-19. The number of patients classified as recovered from the virus is at 34.

Curry County still has six confirmed cases; Roosevelt County has one.
