Draggin' Main concerts postponed to 2021

CLOVIS — Organizers are still hoping to have the Draggin’ Main festivities this summer.

But the Clovis Sound will have to wait.

The Draggin’ Main Music Festival Committee announced Friday afternoon it would postpone its two planned concerts until 2021. The concerts were to feature 7eventh Time Down for the faith and family concert and 38 Special as the headliner.

“The health and financial impact that this pandemic will have on our community, country and the world remains to be seen,” committee chair Thom Moore said in the release, “and we have had to make some of the toughest decisions ever as a committee.”

Moore said the committee wholeheartedly believes the community needs the weeklong event, and plans to continue with its standard tour of classic local restaurants, the weekend Gearhead Gathering and the Main Street Cruise.

Additionally, the Harley Owners Group is joining the event and will hold its regional cookout in Clovis.
