Public meetings falling to coronavirus

The city of Clovis is canceling public meetings in response to coronavirus concerns.

The Clovis city commission meeting set for Thursday has been rescheduled for 5:15 p.m. March 26.

The city also announced a finance committee meeting scheduled for Wednesday has been canceled, along with a water policy meeting set for Tuesday.

Curry County on Sunday announced it will remove “all reports and presentations” from its 9 a.m. Tuesday meeting.

A county news release said the action was taken to “limit person-to-person contact in order to emphasize social distancing and preventing the spread of COVID-19.”
