Bathroom remodeling, polymer clay ahead on show

Information on bathroom remodeling, turkey breakfast options and using no-bake polymer clay will be the featured topics on “Creative Living” 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and noon Thursday (all times Mountain).

Interior designer Kim Bailey is President of Kim Bailey Interiors, LLC. and she’s going to discuss bathroom remodeling. She’ll talk about different floorings, his and her sink areas, lighting and new technology for bathrooms. Bailey lives in Carrollton, Texas.

Janet Stahl is with Butterball in Chicago, and she’s going to talk about new turkey breakfast options, quick and easy morning recipes and demonstrate how to make breakfast fun with and for the kids. She stresses that turkey isn’t just for the holidays.

Designer and crafter Ann Butler will show how to use a no-bake polymer clay in assorted colors to create variegated clay sheets. From the sheets, you can then create postcards, bracelets, frames and much more. Ann’s company is Ann Butler Designs and she’s from Villard, Minnesota.

Information on basic cake decorating, cooking salmon and watermelon and decluttering our lives will be the featured topics on “Creative Living” noon Tuesday and 2 p.m. Saturday.

Nancy Siler formerly represented Wilton Brands in Woodridge, Illinois, and she’s going to show how to use icing dots, zigzags and lines to turn a simple chocolate cake into an extraordinary treat. Add some gold-dusted chocolate curls and this dessert is just over the top!

Connie Moyers is going to talk about wild-caught California King salmon which is tasty and contains Omega-3 fatty acids and is easy to prepare. She’s going to pair this with watermelon, which is also easy to prepare and extremely healthy. Moyers lives in Clovis.

Kathryn Porter is a book author and has coined a phrase she calls Clutternomics -- or making the economy of clutter work for you. She'll explain how to de-clutter our homes and lives so we can have more room and more time for the things that are truly important to us. Porter is from Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Turkey and Roasted Pepper Quesadillas

1 package (5 ounces) Butterball® Thin Sliced Honey Roasted Turkey Breast

8 slices Swiss cheese

1/4 cup chopped roasted red peppers

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 (10 inch) flour tortillas

Place equal amounts of turkey, cheese, roasted peppers, and parsley on each of two tortillas. Top each with another tortilla. Place a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot. Add olive oil. Tilt skillet to coat bottom. Carefully add the tortillas. Cook three minutes on each side, pressing down on top with a spatula, or until the cheese is melted and the tortillas are golden. Remove from pan and cut into wedges. Serves four.
