Year in review: No shortage of crime in 2019

Sandi and Mary Taylor were found guilty and sentenced to 30 and 36 years, respectively, after leaving two young children in a hot car for what prosecutors estimated to be more than two hours in July 2017. Maliyah Jones, 22 months, died, and 2-year-old Aubri Loya suffered serious injuries.

Whether it was a case of homicide, embezzlement or negligence, there was no shortage of crimes, suspects or victims as 2019 came and went in eastern New Mexico.

Few cases captured more public heartbreak and rage as the mother and daughter daycare...
