Roosevelt to hold public hearings

PORTALES — In a regular meeting Thursday morning, the Roosevelt County Commission will hold public hearings and consider action on ordinances pertaining to personnel and collective bargaining, among other items.

The commission will also hear a discussion and request for action in response to damage on East 12th Street and consider bid awards for emulsion materials. The last item on the agenda is a request to approve a grant agreement for “Local Government Invitation to Participate in 2020 Census Outreach.”

The meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. in commission chambers at the Roosevelt County Courthouse.
