PORTALES — The Eastern New Mexico University regents board will look at building a physical plant building and renovating the auto and welding center for its Roswell campus during its meeting Thursday morning at the Portales campus’ administration building.
The 9 a.m. meeting is labeled as a telephonic meeting, meaning many entities will participate via conference call.
The Roswell campus is seeking permission to contract with Bradbury Stamm on the two buildings, with $3.73 million approved by the state. The project was approved by the Roswell college’s board in April.
Other agenda items include:
• Approving a contract for the College Nexus Phase 1 project at the Ruidoso campus. The work will include remodeling of the school’s annex building, repair or replacement of the building’s roof and repairs to the retaining wall behind the building. The three projects have their own budget limits, and combined are not to exceed $3,436,318.
• Architect approval for the new presidential residence on the Portales campus.
• An executive session to discuss one personnel matter and one instance of pending or threatened litigation.
