• The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish will begin online sales today for hunting licenses that were not allocated during the big game draw.

The sale will begin 10 a.m. at wildlife.state.nm.us. Customers are advised to review their online accounts prior to the sale and be signed on before the sale begins, as licenses are often purchased in a matter of minutes or seconds.

Available are 763 deer, 85 youth-only pronghorn and four mobility-impaired-only-elk licenses. To purchase a leftover license, hunters must first purchase either an annual game hunting or game hunting and fishing license.

The licenses will be sold to New Mexico residents for 24 hours, and the sale will open up to non-New Mexico residents 10 a.m. Thursday.

• The Eastern New Mexico men’s soccer program is hosting a high school residential camp today through Saturday on the ENMU campus, with events at Greyhound Arena, Greyhound Stadium and the soccer practice fields.

The camp is for boys entering grades 9-12 and will consist of various sessions of technical and tactical training, speed and agility training and match play.

The camp is $230 for the four days. Signup is available online at enmusoccercamps.com.

• The Dream Big Clovis Wildcat volleyball camp is scheduled for July 8-9 at Rock Staubus Gymnasium.

The camp is separated into two sections. The morning session, 9 a.m.-11 a.m. will be for players entering grades 1-4 at a registration price of $30. The afternoon session is noon to 3 p.m. and will be for players entering grades 5-8 with $50 registration.

Registration will be 30 minutes prior to each July 8 session.

• Colonial Park Golf Course will hold junior golf camps during the next two months.

The first camp will be July 8-11 for golfers ages 6-9, and the second is Aug. 5-8 for golfers 10-18.

Each camp goes from 8 a.m.-10 a.m. daily, with snacks and water provided. A limited amount of clubs will be available for players who don’t have any. Campers are asked to register in advance at the pro shop and arrive 15 minutes before camp each day.

The camps are $75 each, but participants pay $35 with the Blake Berry Memorial Scholarship fund covering the remaining amount.

• The Clovis High Athletics office will begin sales of reserved seat season tickets July 22 for the upcoming Wildcat football season, according to a release from the district.

The sale will be open first to reserved seat season ticket holders from the 2018 season, who have until Aug. 15 to either renew their season tickets at $60 each or relinquish their seats.

Any remaining seats after Aug. 15 will be sold for $60, with a $20 discount to active duty and retired military.

Tickets may be purchased and picked up at the CHS athletic office at 1900 Thornton.

The tickets are good for all five regular-season home games, beginning Aug. 23 against Hobbs. Clovis will hold homecoming Oct. 4 against Sandia. If any are still available in-season, single-game reserved seat tickets will be $12 each at the gate.

General admission tickets are available in advance at the athletics office. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students, active or retired military (with ID) and senior citizens (62 or older). Family athletic passes are not accepted for football games.

• Eastern New Mexico University is hosting its Greyhound Football golf tournament July 20 at Portales Country Club.

Registration will be offered at 7 a.m. on the day of the event. Entry for the 18-hole scramble is $75 per person or $300 per four-person team. Registration fees cover all course fees, lunch and door prizes.
