Paper fabrics, homemade products ahead on show

Information on using homemade products for spring cleaning and working with paper fabric will be the featured topics on “Creative Living” at 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday and at noon on Thursday.

Spring cleaning is a deep cleaning and should be done more than once a year. Becky Johnson will discuss how to get motivated to deep clean our home using products that not only work well, but are less expensive than the store-bought variety. Johnson is from Adrian, Texas.

Roxane Cerda will demonstrate how to create various sewing and craft projects using paper fabric, a rugged paper that looks, feels and wears like leather but sews, cuts and washes like fabric. Cerda is from Concord, California.

Information on making a magazine purse and preparing food gifts will be the featured topics on “Creative Living” at noon on Tuesday and at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Ann Butler is a designer, author and instructor and she’s going to show how to use magazine pages to create a fabric where you can make a one-of-a-kind purse, totebag, book cover or whatever you desire. She’s from Villard, Minnesota.

Holidays cooking is the theme for the segment Connie Moyers will share. She’ll show some food gift ideas, talk about packaging food gifts, as well as discuss food safety. Moyers is formerly with the New Mexico Cooperative Extension Service and lives in Clovis.
