Robert Sandoval is named Curry County commissioner

Former longtime Curry County Commissioner Robert Sandoval has been appointed to the job again.

Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham made the announcement Monday afternoon.

Sandoval succeeds Angelina Baca who failed to file paperwork on time for November's election and was removed from the ballot. Baca had been the only candidate, resulting in the governor appointing her seat.
