“Hearts of the Missing” by Tony Hillerman Prize recipient Carol Potenza opens with the suicide of a young woman linked to a list of missing Fire-Sky tribal members. When Pueblo Police Sergeant Nicky Matthews investigates, she uncovers a threat that strikes at the very heart of what it means to be a Fire-Sky Native: victims are chosen and then murdered because of their genetic makeup. After Nicky discovers those closest to her are put in jeopardy, she must be willing to sacrifice everything — her career, her life, even her soul — to save the people she is sworn to protect.

“Timeless” by R.A. Salvatore is the first in an all-new fantasy trilogy full of swordplay, danger and imaginative thrills. The houses of Menzoberranzan are at war and Zaknafein joins with his son and the mercenary Jarlaxle in what promises to be a battle to the death. As the chaos rages, the three begin a quest to keep the goddess Lolth’s ambitions at bay.

“Calling the Brands” by Monty McCord tells the story of the range detectives, stock detectives and inspectors who usually worked completely alone, courageously capturing or killing livestock rustlers in order to assure the survivability of the ranchers. Proficient in reading brands to identify owners, they protected the cattle industry from being carted away lock, stock and barrel by the unscrupulous and helped shaped the west as we know it.

“Belichick” by Ian O’Connor delves into the mind of Bill Belichick, perhaps the NFL’s most enigmatic, controversial and yet successful coach, having just led the New England Patriots to their sixth Super Bowl championship trophy. Giving the whole Belichick story — the good, bad, and sometimes ugly — this documentary takes you from his dad’s great influence through Super Bowl wins, spygate, the deflated football scandals and everything in between.

“Brain Health As You Age” by Steven P. Simmons tackles the question of, while we may expect to live longer, will our brains keep up with our bodies? Simmons presents useful, achievable actions you can take to reduce your risk of brain function decline and explains the signs and symptoms of problems, available treatments, financial concerns and the factors that determine what kind of care people might need as they age.

“The Spy and the Traitor” by Ben Macintyre presents a thrilling tale of Oleg Gordievsky, the Russian spy who helped hasten the end of the Cold War. For nearly a decade his secret work for Britain’s M16 aided the west in turning the tables on the KGB, exposing Russian spies and helping to foil countless intelligence plots. But Gordievsky’s mission was ultimately doomed when the CIA assigned Aldrich Ames to discover his identity.
