PORTALES — The Portales City Council is slated to select its 2019 capital outlay requests at Tuesday’s meeting.

Also on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers at the Memorial Building:
n Following a public hearing, the council will vote on an ordinance that would revise the city code to update the section on city building codes to align with new state codes.
n The council will vote on a resolution setting municipal records and email retention guidelines, which Standefer said comes from a retention schedule for personnel and other records sent out by the state.
