Where: Both games are part of Angelo State's Ed Massberger Tipoff Classic. The host Rams will play Jarvis Christian Friday and St. Edward's Saturday, with both games at 6 p.m. MST.

St. Edward's notes: The Hilltoppers are 2-0 heading into Tuesday's home game against Southwestern. They topped Colorado Chrstian 93-67 Friday and Colorado Mesa 84-72 Saturday, and won a 77-76 exhibition a week ago over Division-I Texas-San Antonio. Junior guard Ashton Spears leads three in double figures with 18 points per game, and hit seven 3-pointers as part of a 25-point night against Colorado Mesa.

Jarvis Christian notes: The Bulldogs are 2-2 on the season, with wins over Dallas Christian and Philander Smith and losses to 11th-ranked Texas Wesleyan and Langston. They're playing three Lone Star Conference in three nights, starting Thursday at Tarleton State.

ENMU women (2-0) at Abilene Christian (1-0)

5 p.m. Saturday at Moody Coliseum in Abilene, Texas

Abilene Christian notes: ACU is scheduled to host Howard Payne on Thursday morning. As of Tuesday, the Wildcats' most recent game was a 90-47 home victory over Southwest last Friday night. ACU has yet to venture outside the friendly confines of Abilene's Moody Coliseum, with Saturday's game serving as three straight at home for the Wildcats to open the season.

The lowdown: It's always interesting to see how a team will perform in its first regular-season road game. It's gone well so far at home, as Eastern is 2-for-2 at Greyhound Arena. But Saturday, we'll see how they do away from Portales.
