Hounds survive football finale

ENMU uses pick-six, safety and field goal to offset tough offensive day, grab 19-14 win

Greyhound junior defensive back Charles Countee stays on his feet after picking off a pass in the first quarter of Saturday's season finale against Western Oregon. Countee returned the pick 28 yards for the score to get the Greyhounds on the board.

PORTALES - It wasn't the season Eastern New Mexico's football team hoped for, not by a longshot.

But ENMU went out a winner, holding off Western Oregon 19-14 on Saturday, Senior Day at Greyhound Stadium.
