The following were booked into local jails Tuesday through Wednesday:


• Jesus Carrera, 29, aggravated assault, aggravated battery against a household member, criminal damage to the property of a household member, resisting, evading or obstructing an officer

• Ruby Armijo, 38, failure to pay fines

• Joshua Pena, 32, criminal sexual penetration in the second degree, criminal sexual contact of a minor in the second degree, violation of restraining order prohibiting domestic violence

• Laeinani Barela, 29, probation violation

• Kevin Hurley, 49, criminal solicitation to commit unlawful taking of a motor vehicle

• Yeira Arreola, 35, kidnapping (second degree), aggravated burglary, extortion

• Efrain Galvan, 41, driving while license suspended or revoked, no seat belts

• Eduardo Blanco, 22, failure to appear on misdemeanor charge, criminal damage to the property of a household member, resisting, evading or obstructing an officer

• Isaac Sena, 21, embezzlement (over $250)

• Scott Smith, 42, failure to appear on misdemeanor charge

• Sonia Venegas, 29, battery upon a peace officer, assault upon a peace officer, criminal damage to property, resisting, evading or obstructing an officer

• Timothy Saiz, 36, aggravated fleeing a law enforcement officer, aggravated driving while under the influence, breaking and entering, littering, speeding, open container


• Tiffany Clark, 38, possession of a controlled substance, use or possession of drug paraphernalia

• Jacob Esquibel, 23, bench warrant
