CLOVIS — The Prince Street overpass is back open to traffic, after it was shut down early Saturday afternoon due to a tanker accident.
Traffic rerouting was originally limited to the southbound lanes of the overpass, but a detour was later established for a one-block perimeter. The site was cleared around 4 p.m., nearly three hours after the accident first took place.
A diesel tanker that overturned spilled more than 2,100 gallons of diesel fuel, but Battalion Chief Dale Hand said there were no injuries.
