The Portales High School basketball programs will run youth camps May 29-31.

The boys camp will run at Portales Junior High 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m. for boys entering grades 1-6 and 1 p.m.-4 p.m. for boys entering grades 7-9. Registration is $50, payable on the first day of camp.

The girls camp will run at Portales High School, 9 a.m.-11 a.m. for girls entering grades 3-5 and 1 p.m-3:30 p.m. for girls entering grades 6-8. Registration is $45 for the younger camp and $50 for the older camp, with discounts available for multiple campers from the same immediate family.

The Eastern New Mexico University women’s basketball program is hosting a trio of camps in June.

The first camp, set for June 9, is an elite camp for advanced basketball skill work. The cost is $95 per athlete or $80 per athlete if two or more players from the same school attend. Sunday is the final day to apply online for a $10 discount.

An individual skills camp will be offered 9 a.m.-3 p.m. June 11-13 for boys and girls in grades K-8. The cost is $100 per camper ($80 for a child of an ENMU employee or military personnel), $75 for each additional sibling and $25 for the child to stay until 5 p.m. Campers receive a basketball and a T-shirt, with lunch provided each day. An early-bird rate of $85 per camper is available through May. A $15 discount is available online through June 1.

A team camp will be offered June 18-20, with teams playing between seven and nine games. The cost is $650 for one team, or $575 each if bringing multiple teams, and a $35 overnight fee per player. Head coaches eat for free and all coaches stay for free, but additional coaches have a $20 registration fee added. The camp includes a hospitality room, coaches gift and a T-shirt for all campers.

A trio of youth golf camps are scheduled for May and June at Colonial Park Golf Course.

The four-day camps are offered 8 a.m.-10 a.m. May 29-June 1 for ages 5-8, and June 4-7 and June 18-21 for ages 9 and over.

Each camp is $75 — with $35 paid by the participant and the remaining $40 covered by the Blake Berry Memorial Fund.

The Eastern New Mexico University football program will conduct a series of one-day camps throughout New Mexico and Texas and host its 7-on-7 and lineman challenge event in June.

The camps will run for three hours, and are scheduled for 10 a.m. June 7 in Las Cruces (location TBD), 4 p.m. June 7 at El Paso Franklin High School, 1 p.m. June 9 at Rio Rancho Cleveland High School, 10 a.m. June 13 at Clovis High School and 5:30 p.m. June 13 at Frenship High School. The camps are $30 per player., and will include dynamic warmup, speed development, agility training and skill development on offense and defense.

The program will hold its seventh annual 7-on-7 and lineman challenge 9 a.m. June 15 at Greyhound Stadium. The 7-on-7 tournament will include a six-game guarantee, and the lineman challenge will include 10 events. A cost is still to be determined. Lunch will be provided.

Registration is ongoing through June 1 for the Clovis sand volleyball league.

Monday nights will feature women’s teams, while Tuesday nights will feature co-ed teams.

Registration is $60 per team, and a separate $25 per player, and can be dropped off at Aucutt’s Paint Store at 2000 Mitchell St. on the following dates: May 24-25, May 28-June 1.

The Clovis Lady Wildcat Basketball Camp is scheduled June 4-7 at Rock Staubus Gymnasium.

The camp will run 8 a.m. to noon each day for players entering grades 1-9. Players are advised to wear cool, comfortable clothes, a clean pair of basketball shoes, a towel and water. A concession stand will be open for water and sports drinks.

Registration is $60, with each camper receiving a T-shirt and basketball. Checks should be made payable to Jr. Lady Cats Basketball.

The Clovis Softball Association is accepting registration for its summer leagues with an entry deadline of 5 p.m. June 1.

Summer leagues will start in the second week of June — June 11 for church league, June 13 for Wednesday Night League, June 14 for Women’s League and June 15 for TGIF League.

The entry fee is $250 for any team that played in any CSA spring league, $300 for a new league team or $325 for a new league/tournament team.

Registrations are accepted at Ideal Auto Sales, 309 Commerce Way. Any registrations after 5 p.m. June 1 will be subject to a $50 late fee.
