• Great American Cleanup — 8 a.m. to noon at city of Clovis Parks and Recreation Department, 500 Sycamore St., Clovis. Volunteers are invited to help pick up garbage. Participants will be provided a t-shirt and a pizza lunch. Information: 575-769-7870

• Paint the Prairie Dawg Dash 5k Run — 9 a.m. at Clovis Community College. Admission is $20. Information: 575-769-4944

• Substance Abuse Awareness Workshop — 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Curry County Fairgrounds. Featuring presentations from Adult Drug Court, Christian Believers, Eastern New Mexico University counselors and more. Information: 575-763-6016

• Portales Kiwanis Flower Sale — 8 a.m. to noon at the C&S parking lot. Geraniums are $5 apiece and petunias are $8 a dozen.

• Roosevelt County 4-H Family Fun Night — 5 p.m. at the Roosevelt County Fairgrounds. This event is open to all 4-H members and anyone interested in joining the 4-H program. It will feature games, teambuilding, and 4-H demonstrations. 4-H members are asked to bring a side dish or dessert for the potluck dinner. Information: 575-356-4417

• Force of One MMA Championships — 5:30 p.m. at Clovis Civic Center. Admission is $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Information: 575-935-5000
