Melrose grad hired in Maryland
Maryland may be a long way from eastern New Mexico, but one of the region’s own just landed a position in the Old Line State.
Steve Fulkrod, a 1978 graduate of Melrose High School and a 1987 graduate of Eastern New Mexico University, was recently hired as finance manager at United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore in Salisbury, Maryland.
Fulkrod joins UWLES “with over 30 years of nonprofit finance and administration experience at the local, state and national level,” according to a press release by the organization.
He is a U.S. Army veteran and “has been involved with numerous nonprofits throughout his career as both a finance officer and a volunteer,” the press release said.
