Notes: The Greyhounds are in seventh place in the Lone Star Conference, a game behind Texas A&M-Kingsville and half a game ahead of the Aggies and Midwestern State. Lamarquis Thompson leads the Greyhounds at 11.1 ppg, 21st in the LSC, while Jv Long is 30th at 9.8 ppg. Long is fifth in the league in assists at 3.9 per contest, fourth in steals (1.7 spg) and tops in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.8).

ENMU (7-6, 3-3) at Cameron (5-9, 3-3), 4:30 p.m.

On the air: Cow Country 1450 AM

Last time out: ENMU took a 58-56 win over Texas Woman’s last Tuesday for their fourth victory in five contests. The Aggies got drubbed by LSC-leading West Texas A&M 70-49 on Saturday.

Last meeting: ENMU won both games in last year’s series, the latter 81-72. ENMU leads the series 22-14, but is only 7-10 as the road team.

Notes: The teams enter tonight in a five-way tie for fourth-place in the 11-team LSC race. The top eight teams make the postseason tournament in March. Tarleton State, which fell to Texas A&M-Kingsville Tuesday night, is a half-game out of the tie at 3-4 in LSC play. Cameron’s Jamie Bonnarens leads the conference at 17.3 points per game, while Lejha Smith is tops at 10.7 boards per game. Bonnarens is fifth in rebounds at 7.7 per game. The Greyhounds’ top rebounders are Shelby Jones (6.5 per game), Daeshi McCants (6.4) and Mikaehla Connor (5.4). They are 13th, 14th and 17th in the LSC, respectively. Ava Battese leads the LSC in minutes played (35.1 mpg), and is followed by Connor at 33.8.
