CLOVIS — A Clovis man was sentenced Tuesday to 10 years in prison following his no-contest plea June 2 to 17 counts of identity theft and four counts of criminal damage to property, according to a press release from the 9th Judicial District Attorney.

Daryn Merrill, 26, was arrested Sept. 30, 2016, in Melrose for using stolen credit cards, damaging four ATM machines and damaging storage units and a payment drop box earlier in the month.

Five years of Merrill’s sentence are suspended in favor of supervised probation, said the release.
