Travel center to open this month

CLOVIS — The Pilot Travel Center on Mabry Drive in Clovis is scheduled to open in mid-November, according to a news release from Pilot Flying J.

“The travel center features full amenities for area residents and the traveling public, while adding approximately 55 local jobs and other economic benefits to the community,” the release read.

The travel center will offer 10 gasoline fueling positions and five diesel lanes with high-speed pumps, according to the release.

Inside Pilot are PJ Fresh, which features pizza, soup, sandwiches and hot dogs, and Dunkin’ Donuts.

Local home health agencies win awards

Home health agencies across New Mexico, including three in Clovis, have been recognized for their “commitment to improving performance and promoting patient-centered care,” according to a news release from HealthInsight New Mexico.

Accolade Home Care of Clovis received an Excellence in Quality Improvement certificate.

Community Homecare and Plains Regional Medical Center Home Health Care received performance recognition certificates.

“The HealthInsight Quality Award Program promotes transparency in health care,” the news release read.
