Lone Star Conference offers streaming app

RICHARDSON, Texas — The Lone Star Conference has added television apps allowing fans to watch content through Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Android TV, according to a conference release.

The app can be found by searching for “Lone Star” on the compatible devices. The app is free, and content will be provided by the LSC office and member schools.

Users will have access to a conference-wide schedule of live and upcoming broadcasts, and can filter for a specific school.

Participation in the app is so far limited. A search of the app Friday afternoon showed only three of the LSC’s 11 schools — West Texas A&M, Texas Woman’s and Western New Mexico — have posted any content.
