Jaydan Beard plans to attend the University of New Mexico and major in dental hygiene.

What are your hobbies outside of school?

Spending time with my family/friends and reading.

What was your proudest moment in high school?

My proudest moment was winning three state championships (two basketball, one volleyball).

Ivan Rush’s future goal is to own his own business.

How did high school prepare you for the real world?

It taught me to wake up early and be on time.

What’s your favorite song and why?

“Head Splitter”

Zack Perkins is planning on attending the welding program at NMJC in Hobbs and hopefully work in the oil fields as a welder.

What is your favorite class and why?

My ag class, because I am able to further my skills set in the field that I am going to pursue.

What do you look forward to most with college?

Meeting new people and learning new techniques.

Nathaniel Wech plans to attend Clovis Community College and to work on his general education requirements.

What is your favorite quote?

My favorite quote is by Albert Einstein: "Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution."

This is my favorite quote, because I believe without us daydreamers, the world would not evolve. Without imagination, there would be no new inventions to make the world a better place.

What is your funniest memory from high school?

The funniest thing that has happened is when our football boys dressed in drag for spirit week. Who knew my big brother would make such a pretty girl?

Jouie Barnes plans to attend CCC and pursue her dreams of becoming an OBGYN.

What is your favorite class and why?

My favorite class would have to be English, because it has pushed me to become a better leader this year.

What do you look forward to most with college?

I look forward to meeting new people. I cannot wait to spread my horizons and pursue my dreams.
