ALBUQUERQUE — About two dozen Clovis Municipal Schools students were involved in a minor accident on a CMS activity bus Tuesday in Albuquerque.
No injuries were reported, Superintendent Jody Balch said.
Balch said the students — 12 from the Freshman Academy, 12 from Gattis Junior High and two from Clovis High School — and their driver were on their way to a National Honor Society workshop when the bus on which they were riding “touched the side” of a car as the car merged onto Interstate 40 in Albuquerque.
The accident happened about 8:30 a.m.
After stopping to make a police report, Balch said students were able to attend the workshop and were on their way home on the bus as scheduled Tuesday night.
