Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
A Clovis native has been appointed to one of five positions as a judge for the New Mexico Workers’ Compensation Association, according to a WCA release.
Rachel Bayless will begin April 8. She will replace retiring judge Teddy Kramer.
The five WCA judges hear and decide disputes over benefits due to injured New Mexico workers.
Bayless has been the association’s general counsel since February 2014. She graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in 2001 and the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2005.
“I am honored to receive the appointment and look forward to fairly and faithfully serving New Mexico’s citizens in my new position,” Bayless said in a release.
