The Portales Altrusa Club will hold its fifth annual Char-i-Tea event 2 p.m. Saturday at the New Mexico Baptist Children's Home. The event will feature traditional English tea time and literacy-themed games, with proceeds going toward purchasing books for the New Mexico Christian Children's Home.
