I think Richard Fernandez, on his “Belmont Club” blog, was first to note that the Obama administration could be defined by the red-neck phrase, “Hold my beer Bubba, I’m a try somethin.’”

Either gross incompetence or wide-ranging ignorance permeates the State Department, Department of Justice and Health and Human Services. The above list is not all inclusive.

FBI Director James Comey’s report on Hillary Clinton’s home brew server system shows Clinton lied repeatedly to the media and the public when she claimed she had neither sent nor received classified email. Comey documents, “seven e-mail chains concerned matters that were classified at the top secret special access program (SAP) at the time they were sent and received. Those chains involved Secretary Clinton both sending e-mails about those matters and receiving e-mails about those same matters.”

In keeping with the usual Clinton policy of ensuring that their friends are dragged down with them, Comey further notes, “There is evidence to support a conclusion that any reasonable person in Secretary Clinton’s position or in the position of those with whom she was corresponding about the matters should have known that an unclassified system was no place for that conversation.”

Additionally, the agency she led, U.S. Department of State, showed a lackadaisical approach for handling classified material.

Most damning in Comey’s report is, “To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who gauged this activity would gauge no consequences.” To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions but that is not what we are deciding now.”

Having held a SAP clearance, I can assure you that any person found to be out of compliance as indicated in the above report would be stripped of their clearance and fired. Moreover, any reasonable prosecutor would not hesitate to bring charges against them.

Defenders of Attorney General Loretta Lynch will tell you that she is a prosecutor who came up through the ranks, and whose integrity is unquestioned. She is supposedly being put-upon by media for meeting with Bill Clinton, whose wife was under investigation by the FBI. With the wisdom of hindsight, both principles regret their innocent meeting to discuss grandchildren and golf.

Finally, after the catastrophic roll-out of Obamacare, it came to light that only the president and the secretary of health and human services did not realize that the software was not only not ready for prime time but not ready at all.

Should Hillary be allowed to continue with this confederacy of dunces for four more years?
