Eastern New Mexico released its cumulative grade point averages for athletes during the fall semester, with basketball leading the way for women’s sports and baseball leading men’s sports.
The women's sports averaged a 3.324 GPA while on the men's side recorded a 2.712 GPA.
Women’s athletic teams ranged from the 3.564 recorded by basketball to women’s soccer at 3.036. Near the top were women’s cross country (3.518) and volleyball (3.502).
On the men’s side, GPAs ranged from 2.958 with baseball to 2.422 for basketball.
