New Mexico Department of Public Safety has released statistics from the Thanksgiving holiday, from 6 a.m. Nov. 25 through midnight Nov. 29:

• 85 crashes investigated;

• no fatals;

• no alcohol-related crashes;

• 4,262 citations written;

• 29 DWI citations;

• 146 seatbelt citations;

• 18 drug-related arrests.

Clovis High School students are hosting a food and clothing drive through Dec. 17.

Donations may be dropped off at the school’s front office.

Students are looking for clothes — including shoes, belts, hats, pajamas, and gloves — and non-perishable food, including canned meat, canned fruit, canned vegetables and multigrain cereal.
