The Dora Coyotes had little problem with Sundown Tuesday with a 58-35 victory, while the Lady Coyotes weren’t as lucky as they dropped their game against Sundown 66-35.
Dora’s top two scorers outscored Sundown on their own in the boys’ contest, with Dalton Privett scoring 29 and Zaccary Dewbre getting 9.
The Coyotes (1-0) iced the game with a 23-8 fourth quarter.
“We had some lapses where we didn’t score for a few minutes at a time, but we finished strong.”
Daelynn Lee scored 16 points and Jaedin Paxton had 7 for the Dora girls, who are 0-1.
