The Clovis city commission will meet 5:15 p.m. at the North Annex of the Clovis-Carver Public Library.
• The meeting will be preceded by a 4:45 p.m. executive session to discuss acquisition or disposal of property.
• A request for approval of the updated parks master plan.
• A grant/loan for $3.2 million for the design and construction of the second phase of the effluent reuse pipeline. The phase would take the pipeline and its effluent water to Yucca Middle School, the Curry County road department and nearly 140 acres of city parks and sports fields.
• A pair of budget transfers totaling approximately $405,000 for emergency road construction at the intersection of 21st and Norris streets and Thornton Street between 14th and 21st streets.
• A street closure and noise ordinance variance Aug. 15 at Second and Wallace streets for an anniversary party.
• A request for the El Llano Grande District of the Conquistador Council Boy Scouts to hold a campout at Ned Houk Park Sept. 25-27 and to have fees waived. In return for the waiver, the Scouts would complete a service project and do a trash pickup at Ned Houk.
• A request to use Hillcrest Park for the Sept. 12 Desert Cruzers car show. A waiver of fees is requested, with the group offering to clean the park.
• Disbursement of $44,000 in lodger’s tax dollars, as considered during the July 7 meeting.
• Approval of three representatives for the Clovis-Carver Library Board.
• An annual contract with Capitol Consultants for the 2015-16 fiscal year.
• Appointment of a voting delegate and alternate for the annual New Mexico Municipal League business meeting Sept. 3.
