Dora school news — April 23

BPA lunch

The Dora Chapter of Business Professionals of America is having their annual brisket lunch fundraiser Sunday in the school cafeteria. Meals will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and donations are appreciated. Proceeds will help with BPA travel expenses to contests. Nine students will be competing at the national level in California in May, so we welcome support from the community to alleviate some of the expense.

Progress reports

Students will be given progress reports Tuesday to take home to their parents. The reports will show academic progress for the first six weeks of the final grading period.

Sports

• Today – Junior high and varsity EPAC track meet at Fort Sumner

• Friday – Varsity baseball double header at Grady, 2 p.m.; Dora 5K Fun Run 9 a.m. at the school
