Basketball

• Today — Dora hosts Tatum junior high, junior varsity and varsity starting at 3 p.m.

• Friday — Dora homecoming junior high/junior varsity and varsity boys vs. Gateway Christian, beginning at 2 p.m.

Homecoming week

With our basketball homecoming game scheduled Friday, students and staff will be enjoying daily dress-up themes this week. Classes will compete for a prize for having the most participation on each day. The 2015 homecoming theme is “Life is a Highway”, so today will be “Hitch Hiker/Hobo Day.”

Wednesday is “Road Construction (Neon) Day” and Thursday is designated “Red/White, School Spirit Day.”

Homecoming court members are Crown Bearers Alex Luscombe and McKenna McBee; Candle Lighters Jake Siewert and Tylee Freed; Ninth-grade attendants Lance Fletcher and Savannah Kircher; 10th-grade attendants Isaac Carrasco and Shaelei Payne; 11th-grade attendants Levi Bickham and Kaly Cone; and Mr. and Miss DHS nominees Christian Gruis, Jesus Villegas, Taylor Dillard, and Marty Teston.
