• Last year: The Mustangs swept the Greyhounds, winning 66-41 at Wichita Falls, Texas, but needing overtime to pull out an 81-79 victory at Portales.
• Last time out: MSU defeated West Texas A&M 73-58 at home on Wednesday, while the Hounds lost at Cameron 98-71 the same night.
• Of note: Games were moved to Sunday to accommodate the EPAC tournament, which finished its two-day run at Greyhound Arena on Saturday night. … MSU leads the all-time series 26-15, including 11-9 at Greyhound Arena. ENMU’s last win came at home on Jan. 14, 2012, an 80-72 upset of the then-unbeaten (13-0) Mustangs. … Midwestern is 3-2 this season in road games. … The Mustangs reached the second round of the NCAA Division II regionals last year, where they were ousted by Metro State. … Leading scorers for MSU are 6-foot-2 junior G Breston McNeal (16.3 ppg) and 6-4 senior G/F Xavier Blackburn (10.5 ppg). McNeal is a 45 percent 3-point shooter (37-of-82), while Blackburn leads the team in rebounding (6.6 rpg).

• Last year: MSU routed the Zias 75-44 at Wichita Falls, but needed a late basket to notch at 71-69 win at Portales.
• Last time out: The Mustangs defeated West Texas A&M 77-64 at home on Wednesday for their 11th consecutive victory. The Zias dropped a 76-56 decision on Wednesday at Cameron.
• Of note: MSU has a 23-17 lead in the all-time series, winning the last four. ENMU’s last win came on New Year’s Eve 2012, a 70-62 decision at Greyhound Arena. … Four players average in double figures for Midwestern, led by 5-9 senior G Dianna Jones (14.5 ppg). Also, 5-9 senior F Andrea Carter averages a double-double (12.5 ppg, 10.2 rpg), while 5-10 senior G Lisa Hampton (11.2 ppg) shoots 46 percent from 3-point range (36-of-78). … MSU is shooting 77 percent for the season from the free throw line (258-of-335). The Zias are at 73 percent (98-of-135), but have easily the fewest attempts in the league. … The Mustangs reached the NCAA Division II regional tournney last season, losing to Colorado Mesa in the opening round.
