Weather slowing newspaper deliveries

To our readers:

We do apologize for the continuing inconvenience, but many of our delivery areas are still difficult to reach. As of sunset Saturday night, several rural area roads remained untouched by road crews. Many side streets have either been chewed up, creating difficult ruts to get through, or have been smoothed over from traffic, creating a skating rink. Having been out in it today, getting around is extremely difficult, if not impossible.

We will continue to do what we can to get delivery of the newspaper back up to speed. It is going to take awhile longer to get caught up, but I can assure you we are doing what we can to get service back to normal in as timely a manner as possible. We do appreciate your patience as we try to get through this significant weather event.
