Cannon veterinary treatment facility available

Air Commandos stationed here now have the option of taking their pets to the Cannon Veterinary Treatment Facility open the first Wednesday of each month.

The facility is located next to the Military Working Dog kennels in Building 2372 near the Portales Gate, and is currently scheduled to operate Jan. 7, Feb. 4, and March 4 from 0730 to 1430.

The clinic provides low-cost vaccinations, physical examinations and microchip services. This facility is open to all active-duty members, retirees, disabled veterans, air and national guardsmen and reservists.

The clinic accepts payment by credit card or personal checks; no cash. Members are asked to please arrive 10 minutes prior to their appointment and be sure to clean up after their pets.
