Finals week

Dora High School students will be taking their semester finals this week.

Today, students will be taking finals in their second-, third-, and fourth-period classes.

On Wednesday, finals will be given for fifth, sixth, and seventh periods.

Thursday is the last day of the semester, and there will be an abbreviated high school bell schedule, with all seven classes meeting. Lunch will be served, and school will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m., with buses running at 12:35 p.m.

Elementary program

The Dora Elementary students will be led by music teacher Robin Simpson to present their Christmas program at 2:30 p.m. today in the school auditorium. The free performance is open to the community.

Christmas break

School will not be in session Friday through Jan. 4. The second semester will begin on Jan. 5. Report cards will be issued on Jan. 6.

Basketball

Dora Junior High boys and varsity teams host Vaughn at 4 p.m. on Thursday.
